The linked Lock Ultra title uses broad Wi-Fi wording, while its detailed description and SwitchBot’s documentation require a compatible bridge for the relevant connected functions. Read the actual package contents. A keypad, a standard hub and a Matter-capable bridge are different items; do not assume all are included.

For U200, verify a supported Matter controller and Thread border router for the intended ecosystem. A Thread logo alone does not provide remote administration or every app-specific feature. Aqara Home functions and third-party Matter functions can differ, so check the exact access method you care about.

Installation is a fit check, not a security endorsement

Follow the manufacturer’s North American deadbolt instructions and check dimensions and clearances before purchase. Some regional cylinder guidance concerns European locks and should not be applied blindly to a Canadian deadbolt. Keep original parts safely labelled.

After an authorized installation, verify the documented manual and physical-key routes while maintaining safe access. Understand battery warnings and recovery before using automatic locking.
